Deltex Medical Ltd. (UK) signs exclusive distribution agreement with Pacific Medical Systems Ltd. (Hong Kong).
Deltex Medical is a global technology leader in the field of haemodynamic management. Its oesophageal Doppler monitoring (ODM) system is supported by an unparalleled number of Randomised Controlled Trials (RCTs) which confirm the clinical outcome benefits as well as its technological advantages over alternative solutions. ODM is recommended by the NICE (UK) in its guidelines on fluid management.
Pacific Medical Systems Limited is a leading medical distributor in Asia with extensive experience in haemodynamic monitoring and regional distribution management. The exclusivity agreement includes Greater China (China, Taiwan and Hong Kong) and South East Asia (Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines and Myanmar).
Andy Mears, CEO of Deltex Medical UK states; “Deltex has established a strong market position with increasing adoption in Europe and the USA. We are excited to now be partnering with Pacific Medical Systems Limited in Asia. The company has an impressive track record and understanding of the clinical and technological aspects of haemodynamic monitoring. This, coupled with their experience in managing medical equipment distribution across Asia makes our new partnership a natural fit that will provide a new level of support for clinicians as they seek the best clinical outcomes.”
Jules Flach, CEO of Pacific Medical Systems Limited adds; “having spent years with ultrasound technologies and the last 16 with Doppler haemodynamic monitoring solutions, we are thrilled at the opportunities this agreement offers. ‘To give or not to give,’ fluid management remains a daily clinical challenge for doctors and nurses, especially in the operating room and critical care environments. Yet many current monitoring technologies are very invasive, inaccurate or difficult to use. Deltex’s TrueView haemodynamic monitoring platform, with the pioneering ODM technology at its core, stands out from the crowd in our view. It accurately measures the blood flow directly from the Aorta, providing real time “continuous” data and a clear picture of the haemodynamic status and response to therapy. Also, it requires only minimal operator training. We are looking forward to working closely with Deltex and our healthcare providers and distribution partners across Asia to make Deltex ODM the standard of care.”
