The Deltex Medical Oesophageal Doppler Simulator (ODS) exists for clinicians to practice probe insertion, focusing and waveform interpretation in a non-patient setting. It is designed for use with the ODM+ system and enables:

Nasal and oral insertion practice
Recognition and location of descending aortic waveform
Pulmonary Artery, Coeliac Axis and Intracardiac waveform simulation
Modification of the waveform to simulate hypovolaemia
Keypad modification of descending aortic waveform
