Deltex Wins Biggest Ever Hospital Contract

Haemodynamic monitoring specialist, Deltex Medical’s French distributor, Gamida has been awarded a new tender to supply hospitals in Paris with CardioQ-ODM+ equipment.

Deltex’s long term partner has won an eight year tender to supply CardioQ-ODM+ products to the Assistance Hopitaux Publique de Paris (AHPP). AHPP is the public hospital system of the city of Paris and its suburbs. It includes over 40 hospitals and is linked to the University of Paris. The tender replaces a 2011 award that had itself been extended in 2014. It will see the installation of 70 additional CardioQ-ODM+ monitors in AHPP hospitals with a significant commitment to the use of Doppler probes.

Ewan Phillips, Deltex Medical’s Chief Executive, commented: “This is the largest value tender ever awarded anywhere for the Company’s products and consolidates our strong market position in France, especially in Paris. France is our largest export market by volume and second only to the USA by value.”

Ewan added: “It’s very gratifying when contracts are renewed, extended and expanded, especially in the public sector. This is a real-world sign that the healthcare provider is seeing the benefits of adopting our technology. AHPP is very confident of the benefits of the ODM which is why the contract is now so long.”
