Regulatory Affairs Associate/Officer 

This regulatory position is intended to assist in ensuring all products are placed on global markets with the highest level of compliance according to the recognised regulations, specifically those of the EU, US, and Canada.  The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining associated technical documentation such as Technical Files, 510(k) submissions, and aspects of Design History Files, as well as management of regulatory packs for each territory.

Additionally, the regulatory affairs officer will assist in ensuring the correct functioning of related systems within the quality system such as medical device reporting, post market surveillance, post market clinical follow up, clinical evaluations and creation of the pre-market clinical strategy for new products.

We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:

  • Degree level in engineering or appropriate academic discipline
  • Not less than 3 years’ experience in regulation of class II/III medical devices
  • Excellent knowledge of MDD/MDR.
  • Preferably good knowledge of ISO 13485 and one or more of the following:
    • ISO 14971
    • MEDDEVs and other guidance documentation
    • ISO 62304
    • ISO 60601
    • ISO 10993
    • ISO 11135
  • Experience of working with international distributors
  • PMS and vigilance management
  • Excellent problem-solving communication, and organisational skills
  • Excellent written English and report writing ability
  • Results focused with ability to work on own initiative
  • Computer literate
  • Driven to succeed

UK Field Sales Team Vacancies  –  London & North 

We currently have two immediate vacancies within our vibrant and motivated UK Field Sales Team:

            Clinical Sales Specialist, Central London and North Thames

            Clinical Sales Support Associate, North of England (living ideally Manchester – Leeds)

These exciting roles will suit graduates who want to shape a career in medical sales with either one or more year’s relevant clinical experience or medical sales experience, or ideally both. Knowledge of critical care, anaesthetic and/or surgical practices would also be a distinct advantage. Above all else we require highly motivated individuals with a ‘can do’ attitude.

The roles involve selling and providing sales support; to initiate, develop and implement education, training and technical support programmes on the full range of products supplied by Deltex Medical within the UK. The degree of commercial responsibility is greater for the London role.

Core products within the portfolio include ‘best in class’:

Cardiac Output, Haemodynamic and Fluid Monitoring using the following technologies:

  • Oesophageal Doppler Monitoring (ODM),
  • High Definition Impedance Cardiography (HD-ICG),
  • Continuous Arterial Blood Pressure Waveform Analysis (PPWA),
  • Cerebral and Somatic Oximetry (NIRS).

Hardware Engineer

Deltex Medical Limited are seeking a Hardware Engineer to join their dedicated research and development team.  From our site in Chichester, we passionately believe that the products we design and manufacture make a real difference to people’s lives, by enhancing patient care whilst reducing the overall cost to the healthcare provider.  The Hardware Engineer will play their part in bringing these new products to life.  The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated, team player who’s eager to see product development through the full product development cycle from concept to production.

Highly Desirable Skills include:

  • Previous Hardware Design: mixed analogue & digital, RF & power supply
  • Electronic schematic capture and layout (Cadstar or similar)
  • Documentation: Writing specifications and working with standards
  • Working in a regulated environment (medical devices preferred)
  • Testing
  • Some knowledge of software (Python, C, etc)
  • Practical skills for prototype construction
